Where Would You Rather Be Right Now?

While I’m hard at work at my 9-5, i often daydream about where I’d rather be. After my lightbulb moment i had this sudden urge to want to fully experience the world and explore as much as this beautiful planet as possible. What better way to do that than to travel?

Where would you rather be right now? On a beach eating ice cream with your closest pals? Shopping with your bestie? Spending more time with your kids? I often day dream of travelling around the world making new friends and experiencing new things. I really feel we were put on Earth to enjoy and explore, not worry about work, debt, taxes and bills. So I’ve made a decision that travel will be a priority for me from now on.

I thought to myself, why is it that i’ve not had a holiday since my honeymoon?  I realised that during the monotony of the rat-race i actually forgot to live. I didn’t put travel and leisure as a priority. A healthy work life balance is so important.  Getting away from the pressures of modern living is so important yet so many people don’t get away because they can’t afford to, or they can’t get the time off work.

I’m a firm believer in the law of invitation (or law of attraction as most people refer to it) and I believe that if you make space for something in your life, that something will eventually appear. I made a decision to make  space for travel in my life. So you know what i did? i began collecting pictures of the destinations i would like to go to next. I’ve also made lots of new friends online around the world, who I may get the opportunity to meet up with. I even signed up to a social media network dedicated to travel called Travel Pod. I’ve got my passport renewal forms filled out and ready to go right now. I’m using the law of invitation.  I have a visualisation book which i bought from Paperchase with cut-outs of my dream holiday spots. It’s all part of the asking / inviting process.

When we look at our why for taking the entrepreneur route, it’s not just about the money. It’s about having the choice to experience new things. I’m on a mission to make this happen so I’ve made a list of places I want to travel to between 2014 and 2016. Watch me tick these off my list one by one! So who’s coming with me? Chime in below…
